A repository for research, the Monsignor Patrick Anthony Folk Research Centre (FRC) was established to promote research into Saint Lucian culture through the scientific study, collection, storage, data analysis on intangible cultural heritage and the related compilation, publication and dissemination of information . After nearly 40 decades of building an extensive and exciting body of invaluable cultural resources, a tragic fire in March 2018 destroyed all that stood. As it rebuilds it’s collection, the FRC aims to increase capacity in digitizing its research and resource assets and in so doing, create global accessibility.
